If you are engaged, congratulations!
A wedding is one of life's great moments, a time of solemn commitment as well as good
wishes, feasting and joy. Marriage is intended by God to be a creative relationship, as his blessing enables people to love and support each other in good times and in bad. For Christians, marriage is also an invitation to share life together in the spirit of Jesus Christ.
It is based upon a solemn, public and life-long covenant declared and celebrated in the presence of God and before witnesses.
St Alphege Church is the perfect setting for your special day. Standing amongst the Victorian shops in Whitstable's High Street, set in a beautiful lawned garden and York stone forecourt. Inside, the high beamed ceilings give a light and spacious atmosphere. Weddings here are always popular and we have been blessed to share this happy day with many couples.
If you are interested in having your wedding at St Alphege then you can either visit the church on every first Saturday of the month between 10am-12noon to discuss your booking, or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
